Kandu Placement Services works to connect the employment needs of our area businesses with an employee base that is often overlooked, but highly dedicated. We recruit employers and place employees with employment barriers in enriching work settings throughout the community.

For over 50 years, we have been providing area businesses with a valuable service. Our business partners represent a wide range of industries. We have place workers in manufacturing, retail, food service, custodial, and maintenance settings and we will continue to successfully meet the varied requirements of our business partners.

Beyond our business partners, we work with Michigan Rehabilitation Services, Community Mental Health, Michigan Works!, and private insurance referrals and in the process have placed more than 2500 individuals over the last five years.

Individualized placement.

When your company is ready to hire, we will help match the skills and requirements you are seeking with the talents of our qualified and trained client base. Through our assessment, training, job coaching, and on-site supervision services, we also ensure that your new employee, whether permanent or temporary, will be prepared, supported, and successful.

Supported employment.

We can connect you with entry-level employees who perform basic tasks to skilled employees who operate machines and perform other advanced tasks. We offer a dedicated and stable work force that thrives on success. In addition, we offer support before and during placement. We have support managers, who will work with an individual or a crew to make sure that their transition into the job goes smoothly - for you and for them. We offer disability training to raise awareness among employees.

Job coaching.

At no cost to the employer, we will place job coaches with qualified individuals to help train them. our coaches will determine how best to train the worker to the job. They may use hands-on approaches, charts, review sessions, and other methods to ensure that the work will be accomplished error free. Coaches stay on the job until workers can perform independently.

Supervised work crews.

Supervised work crews can be customized for employers to offer just the right skill sets to complete a job. Each job, whether temporary or long-term, is assessed to determine production deadlines, rates, and quality measurements. The supervisor keeps the crew on task and on time, so employers can be confident that their projects are completed correctly.

Temporary employment, short- and long-term assignments.

Seasonal spikes or short-term projects often require a temporary boost in employees. Whether it is one or two employees or a temporary work crew, we will provide you with the workers and the schedule you need.
